Overview
PSOC™ Automotive 4: Your problem-solver to all HMI and capacitive-sensing solutions.
PSOC™ Automotive 4 is a scalable and reconfigurable platform architecture designed for programmable embedded system controllers. The microcontroller family is AEC-Q100 compliant and features an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU. It combines programmable and reconfigurable analog and digital blocks with flexible automatic routing. It is a combination of a microcontroller with standard communication and timing peripherals, capacitive sensing technology (CAPSENSE™) with best-in-class performance, programmable general-purpose continuous-time, switched-capacitor analog blocks, and programmable connectivity.
PSOC™ Automotive microcontrollers integrate Infineon's best-in-class capacitive touch-sensing system for demanding human machine interface (HMI), as well as smart sensing applications along with an Arm® Cortex®-M0/M0+ CPU, flash, and memory. A programmable analog front-end with ADC, operational amplifiers, low-power comparators combined with digital blocks, and various communication interfaces such as SENT, LIN, CAN, and CAN FD provide a single-chip smart sensor with high integration and a small footprint. An extended development ecosystem has been built around PSOC™ Automotive including multiple software compatibility and the famous PSOC™ Creator software, an easy-to-use IDE that introduces a game-changing schematic entry design methodology. These devices are also supported in ModusToolBox™ which is provided as a collection of development tools, libraries, and embedded runtime assets.
